On the 17^th of October 2019, we attended the SOE Awards Night. An annual event organised by the Spirit Of Enterprise, a non-profit organization run by entrepreneurs to promote and recognise fellow entrepreneurs in Singapore. The last time we attended this grand event was in 2015 whereby our founders Brian and Jude were invited to be part of the honouree list.

Fast forward 4 years later, Brian and Jude attended the event but this time as part of the featured entrepreneurs in the book titled Entrepreneurs Built To Last. This book showcases entrepreneurs under the list of SOE honourees to tell their story and in addition impart their wisdom onto fellow and budding like-minded folk.

A couple of months back, Brian and Jude sat down with SOE committee member Cheryl T. Hansen to give insight on the origin story of their journey and the inception of Nic & Wes Builders Pte Ltd. Following the interview and photoshoot spearheaded by Cheryl and her team, the article was formulated into a beautifully produced 20-page spread rich with their story, quotes, tips and photos.

On the awards night, Brian and Jude along with 9 other entrepreneurs were presented with the published book as part of the feature highlight of the night. Highlighting and recognising their hard work and determination, this feature is another milestone in their personal journeys as well as in the Nic & Wes records book.

Their story in Entrepreneurs Built To Last is much like a mini-biography into the lives of these two special people whom have jointly planted the seed of Nic & Wes and have nurtured it into a plant that has since bloomed into the tree it is today looking to branch out further as it continues on its journey of growth.
