An intermediate terrace home brought back to life for present day living with a minor extension upwards from an original single-storey house into a 1 1/2 storey home encompassing a Contemporary homely vibe. Working within the exsiting structure, the home was tweaked to accomodate senior citizen living as well as to maximise the natural light and air ventilation into the home. The openess of space with minor wall obstructions and a double volume ceiling creates the illusion of spaciousness within a cosy abode.
